The Trial of Mr Punch is a comic drama about the trial of the illustrious puppet, Mr Punch, on charges of cruelty to his wife, Judy. As the trial proceeds, in a series of zany scenes, the questions arise – is Mr Punch insane, and unfit for trial? Or is he simply a puppet trapped in his own reality?
