Performance by Dr. Gerard Gillen
Gerard Gillen is titular organist emeritus of Dublin’s Pro-Cathedral and professor emeritus of music at Maynooth University.
He has given over 1,000 recitals in a career that has taken him to four continents, acting as a member of a number of international competition juries, and performing at many of the world’s most prestigious recital venues.

Featuring performances by Charles Marshall (organ) and Bogdan Sofei (violin).
Bogdan Sofei was born in Bucharest in 1975 and has been based in Galway since 2003. He is co-founder and leader of the Con Tempo String Quartet, and has performed extensively Europe, Canada and the USA. He was recently conferred with an honorary D.Mus degree by NUI Galway in recognition of his services to music in the Western region.
Thomas Charles Marshall is organist and choral director in St. Anne’s Church, Dawson Street, Dublin. He studied organ under Peter Hurford in Emmanuel College Cambridge and later with David Adams at the RIAM. He has spent 14 years in Japan studying Japanese music under Sanae Yamada.
